What are the Anvil Awards you ask? The Anvil Awards are a Collection of The Year celebration that will be presented annually starting in December 2009 to recognize excellence in the field of Gentle Giant Collecting

For our inaugural year we will be starting off with six categories and they are:

Best Overall Gentle Giant Collection

Best Overall Star Wars Themed Gentle Giant Collection

Best Overall Harry Potter Themed Gentle Giant Collection

Most Unique Gentle Giant Display

Best Bust Ups Gentle Giant Collection

Best Movie Themed Gentle Giant Collection (Non SW/HP)

You may enter up to four images in the Overall and Star Wars categories. One image in all other categories. No composites/stitched or photo-shopped images are allowed.

We will have a 15 day window with open nominations. You may nominate yourself or someone else who you feel deserves the nomination. At the end of the 15 day window, select members of Gentle Giant LTD, Gentle Giant Collectors Admins, and Sponsors of GGC will vote on the top 5 from the open nominations.

Those five will move on to the Final Nomination Process when the community at GGC will vote for the winner (free forum registration required to vote).

The voting will be a blind process and the winners will not be revealed until December 30th. One vote per IP address allowed.

It is possible for you to win in multiple categories. The winners will receive some very cool one of a kind collectibles (to be announced shortly) & a certificate for the category in which you won in signed by the President of Gentle Giant LTD, the Senior Manager of Product Development at Gentle Giant LTD, and the Admin and Owner of Gentle Giant Collectors.
